The Highlights: Updates from Nashville-based startups and services
If you want to know what's going on in Nashville's startup scene, check here for a bi-weekly report about founders, and what they are working on.
This newsletter is powered by a collection of 850+ founders, funders and experts. We are part of a community called StartupNash, founders and funders who share peer knowledge about starting and growing businesses.
Hey yβall- last update of March. StartupNash has 15 asks from the group and 244 matches this month. Top subject people matched on were: Founder questions/startups. Not surprising and exactly what this group is going for.
What does this mean?
Our group has been matching thanks to the help of a tool we made called Britepeer. Britepeer does the admin work for the group and helps members meet each other.
Britepeer is a tool created from problems I experienced as the host of the StartupNash community. We just started our first ever pilot outside the group today.
Want to check out Britepeer? I made a post about how it works. If you want to pilot Britepeer in your own online community group, sign up here to learn more: www.britepeer.com

Twin Sun has two new developers starting next week! We welcome Justin Acosta, a former educator from Louisiana, and Rita Rosiek, a developer from New Jersey.
Twin Sun's CTO, Jami Couch, will be presenting his work on our internal chat bot at AI Tinkerers Nashville on April 9th. The bot, K-2SO, (experimentally) drafts pull requests for new features and (expertly) criticizes us incessantly.
Mane Impact is launching an Earth Month campaign in April to showcase examples of businesses (in any industry) who have and/or are launching sustainability initiatives. They want to connect with and share more stories of organizations being sustainable, especially if theyβre not in an environmental field. You can contact or add Hannah (Vaughn) Nichol on Linkedin for more information.
The Lions Cage is just beginning to take some reservations starting late/May and into the rest of the year.

PS - some personal news!
I am working on contract for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center as the new Connections Director. This work involves connecting early-stage startups to capital resources, programming, mentorship and community. It combines my passion for helping founders navigate resources generally and serving founders in Nashville. I go to the EC on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come visit and get free 3 hour parking and a free tour.
